Fostina Dixon & Winds of Change Play at Cobi's Place Aug 21, 2010 at 8 & 10 p.m.
$20/set
A very special concert will take place when Fostina Dixon & Winds of Change play at Cobi's Place on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, presented by Cobi Narita & Jazz Center of New York. Ms Dixon is a composer, vocalist and jazz soloist, who plays soprano, alto and baritone saxes; flute and clarinet. She will be playing some original pieces from her new CD as well as other compositions. Her CD will be available for sale at the concert.

M.A.D.D. Rhythms is representing TAP in L.A., Minnesota and the world this week!
Last week was chock full of the rhythm! Jumaane Taylor returned from Tap The Map just in time to teach @ The Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Bril Barrett taught sold-out classes @ The Chicago Human Rhythm Project while simultaneously running his ASM Summer Program @ BBF. Nora Clark returned from teaching packed classes @ The St. Louis Tap Festival. M.A.D.D. Rhythms performed at Millennium Park and the Museum of Contemporary Art. M.A.D.D. Rhythms West performed @ Austin Town Hall and Douglas Park. The August session of M.A.D.D. Rhythms Tap Academy" classes began @ Big City Swing and The Harold Washington Cultural Center.
