Stars’ Talents Remain a Secret
by Tracy Krisanits

Sadly, after just one episode, CBS has cancelled the reality show “Secret Talents of the Stars,” which featured our upcoming May 2008 cover subject, tapper Jason Samuels Smith. He was on board to coach Grammy Award-winning singer Mya, who performed in the initial episode and received rave reviews. Gavin Polone, the show’s quintessential “mean” judge, even felt that Mya’s performance was the best of the night.

John O’Hurley, the season one champion of “Dancing With the Stars,” was the host of the short-lived show, and actress Debbie Reynolds, who appeared in Singin’ in the Rain with Gene Kelly and Three Little Words with Fred Astaire was one of three judges. While you can’t catch any more episodes on primetime, you can still check out Mya and Samuels Smith online at http://www.cbs.com/primetime/secret_talents_of_the_stars/.
