Leadership changes at Chicago Human Rhythm Project May 31, 2008 Recommend (3)
A few step ball changes are on tap for the Chicago Human Rhythm Project, the country's oldest tap and percussive dance institution.
Martin "Tre" Dumas has been named associate director of the CHRP. Lane Alexander, who co-founded CHRP in 1990, remains with the group but assumes the title of director and will be responsible for overseeing instituional and artistic development in the organization.
Kristi Burris, a founding member of CHRP's ensemble BAM! and Lisa La Touche, a former member of M.A.D.D. Rhythms, were also named as artistic associates for the group.
