On Wednesday, January 24, 2007, The American Center-New Delhi organized a lecture-demonstration with internationally renowned Kathak Maestro, Pandit Chitresh Das, and Emmy Award winning tap dance star, Jason Samuels Smith. The event showcased a blend of American and Indian cultures through two well known dance forms: Kathak and tap dance.
