LGD Salute - Award Presentation & Open Cypher
The Ailey Extension and E.D. Entertainment, in association with Divine Rhythm Productions, are proud to present Ladies Get Down, an event created by hip hop’s highly respected Robin Dunn of E.D. Entertainment. In honor of Women’s History Month, the event will feature seven dance workshop classes taught by some of New York’s top female hip-hop artists including Robin Dunn, Violeta Galagarza, Kim Holmes, Honey Rockwell, Miriam Morgan, Marjory Smarth, Snapshot & WandeePop and Tweetie.
The first annual Ladies Get Down Salute - Awards Presentation & Open Cypher will pay homage to women who have contributed to the proliferation of hip-hop dance and culture.
Day #1:
5-6pm - F.A.C.E./Warm up, Robin Dunn
6-7pm - Breaking, Honey Rockwell
7-7:30pm - Break
7:30-8:30pm - Sexy Hip Hop (Ladies Bring Your Heels), Tweetie

GOD BLESS US ALL!! Just a promotion for those that say I dont teach enough in NY. Well, I think most of you know, but, I am doing a 1 week intensive workshop next week at Peridance Feb.15-20 focusing on Basics in HIp-hop ( with Freesyle), and House at 1pm Monday through to Saturday.
My regular classes at BDC; 322 W.45th St. between 8th Ave and Broadway 3rd floor, Champions: 257 W.39th St. between Broadway and 8th Ave. ( Wednesday 4:30pm-6:30pm and Saturday 8pm-10pm), and Peridance 126 East 13th Street (Fridays 6:30-8pm for EJOE teaching with Bravo, 8-9:30pm My Hip-hop Class and 5:30-7pm House class for EJOE), are still going on.

Class focuses on the the foundations in the dance styles of Hip Hop and House. This class also focuses on the foundations in other styles of dance that are connected to the lineage/influence of these three very popular dance styles. This class will focus the basic techniques, isolations, and rhythm patterns of these dance styles. Leaving the student with tools to work on for years to come within their individual freestyle ( improvisation) as well as the ability to understand and to express the artform of these three styles in a possible routine or choreography.
