Welcome to Tap Into a Cure!
Register Now!__Hello everyone, Tap Into A Cure is back for
another exciting year! Canada’s only tap workshop for
charity runs from August 13th through the 17th and will
raise money for the Hope Mission of Edmonton and TAP: The
Africa Project. Come enjoy three days of incredible classes
followed up by a show of Masters and special guests,
including the winner of 2008 Northern Star Talent Search –
a display of talent that you will never forget, and that
has never been seen in Alberta! The performance, Magical
Rhythms, will happen in Sherwood Park at Festival Place on
August 17th at 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at any
Ticketmaster box office, or on the Ticketmaster website.
We've moved the workshop from Sherwood Park to Edmonton`s
west end. The address is 9764 182 Street, a quick hop,
skip, and a shuffle away from the world famous West
Edmonton Mall!
The 2008 edition of Canada’s premiere tap experience will
feature tap classes from Bril Barrett, Chloe Arnold, Sarah
Reich and Emmy Award winning tap dancer Jason Samuels
Smith! New to this year’s workshop will be the inclusion of
an incredible Hip Hop event featuring classes from the one
and only Mr. Wiggles! Tap Into A Cure is ecstatic to bring
such amazing talent to Alberta’s capital city. We hope to
see you with your shoes on and ready to go, as we raise
money for two great causes and provide you with an
incredible weekend of dancing!

will become a JAZZ TAP BRUNCH REUNION CELEBRATION on
SUNDAY, JUNE 22nd 12:30 – 3:30. Tappers from all over the
world will join with co-host, Barbara Duffy in recreating
the classic Jazz Tap Brunch Kindred played for several
years across the street at Zinno. Max Pollak, Maurice
Chestnut, Andrew Nemr and Claudia Rahardjanoto are some of

extraordinaire Tina Pratt and Derick K. Grant and the TAP
PRESERVATION AWARD will be presented to teacher, historian
