of others that are still sinning against others while you

and tell them their errors of their ways, and listen to
them as well. Have forgiveness, and try not to repeat what
you hear. Passing what you hear, only passes sin to
another's ear, and then makes a person assume about another

News from Dance/NYC:
SAVE THE DATE!
Dance/NYC will be having an Open House at our new digs on
Thursday, January 17th from 5PM to 8PM. Come meet the new
staff, see the new Dance/NYC loft and join in some music,
wine and good times!

------------------------------------------------------
IF YOU ATTEND DANCE/NYC EVENTS PLEASE READ!
Dance/NYC is now set up in our new home on the 6th floor of
Greene Street. For those who have had the opportunity to
visit, it is apparent our new offices are much smaller and
we only have conference room capacity to accommodate 15
people or less for our in house events. As result of this
change Dance/NYC will be required to rent outside space for
many of our events. To cover our expenses in having events
offsite we will begin charging a small fee for our
professional development events. Our Roundtables and Town
Halls will continue to be offered free of charge.
We have developed a system we believe will work very well
with artists ever changing schedules (and budgets), and you
will have the option of making decisions that work best for
you.
As of January 1, Dance/NYC will offer a Dance/NYC class
pass. This pass will be $10.00 and offer admission to 3
Dance/NYC events for the 2008 calendar year. Once you have
paid for the dance class pass through our donation button
on our website you will be mailed a card which will be
punched each time you choose to attend a Dance/NYC event.
This way if you can’t make the event at the last minute you
don’t lose the admission fee, you can just apply it to
another event.
Should you elect not to purchase the Dance/NYC class pass
then admission for the Dance/NYC event will be $5.00 and
will be collected at the door the day of the event.
We will still ask that all attendees RSVP through our
website so we can have an accurate count for every event,
but if your plans change you don’t lose out.
Below is a list of tentative upcoming events at Dance/NYC,
and remember, many events will be coming to your door step
in Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx - you don’t want to miss
out, so get your Dance/NYC class pass today.

the Third Annual Silesia Jazz Festival.

Please be on the lookout for additional information on
my touring schedule. Also, please visit my website
for information on purchasing my debut CD,
"Blackbird." The October 2004 Down Beat review of
"Blackbird" by Fred Bouchard says:

*** (Three Stars)

In-your-face candor, raw musicality, fab time and
blues heft mark Bady's fresh, personal readings of
classics, from churchy "Battle Hymn Of The Republic"
to sand-in-your-shoes "Dindi." Bady's acerbic timbre
and salty directness recall Della Reese and Carmen
McRae. Her rich alto delivers honest, reality honed
readings with bare trio or less--just hands-off
producer Misha Piatigorsky's simpatico piano or, on
"That's All," only Greg Searvance's snare drum. She
scats a little, hums reedily, stretches words and
lines sumptuously. Hear her exuberant swoop through
"Caravan" like a desert hawk.

Ordering Info: http://www.judybady.com

My total discography includes: "Jazz Appreciation
Month 2006" - Released by the Embassy of the United
States of America in Armenia; "Book of Unstandards" by
Chris Chalfant; "We Want to Give Thanks," by Piotr
Wojtasik; "Gospel Jazz Mass: Live at Ascension
Lutheran Church" - with Hamiet Bluiett and John Hicks;
"Journey" by Francesca Tanskley; "Have Yourself a
Merry..." by the Oliver Lake Steel Quartet; "Aya" by
